A 2020 music video about overconsumption, told through the eyes of two toys discarded after being bought new. MADE OF assembled an ensemble cast for a story that explores the world of people through the lens of the things they left behind.
When a story is told through the eyes of objects, people cease to be the main focus and become the environment. They cannot be played at a high level: any flashy acting will steal the spotlight and undermine the point for which everything was created.
That's why the ensemble is more important than the individual roles—you need people who are precise in the details and don't try to steal the show. Such a cast is harder to assemble and almost impossible to judge in a single audition: you have to watch them work together.
