Jah Khalib, Artik & Asti — «МамаМия»

A music video directed by Aibat Rakhmanov featuring three artists and a large ensemble cast. Casting took place in Almaty and Moscow, with MADE OF responsible for the Almaty portion, from key roles to crowd scenes.

Casting, divided between cities, required a common standard. The Almaty and Moscow sections were assembled simultaneously, and decisions had to be made so that the final shot wouldn't reveal who was cast.

Key roles and crowd scenes are different jobs, but not different in quality. In a music video with a large ensemble, extras aren't just background noise: they set the story's scale and are the first to ruin it if they're chosen carelessly.
