Aisultan Seitov's black-and-white music video, based on the accident at well No. 37 at the Tengiz field, "MADE OF" brings together characters of varying ages and backgrounds into a unified community connected to the place and its history.

Black and white images remove color from casting—the easiest way to distinguish people in the frame. What remains are texture, age, facial shape, and posture, and it is these that differentiate the characters.

The goal wasn't to identify individual faces, but to create a sense of community: people of different ages had to appear to belong to the same place and the same history. This wasn't done individually, but as a group—testing how they fit together.
